Our story is rooted in a deep commitment to sharing God’s love and guiding people toward a meaningful relationship with Christ.
The Synodal Commission for Migrants — officially known as The Synodal Commission for the Pastoral Care of the Faithful Outside India — serves the SyroMalankara Catholic faithful who live beyond the canonical territorial boundaries of the Church.
Grounded in the vision of the Synod of Bishops, the Commission seeks to nurture the faith, unity, and ecclesial life of our people dispersed across the world.

Our Christian values are the foundation of everything we do as a church. Guided by faith, love, compassion, and integrity, we are committed to serving God.
Acting in close collaboration with the hierarchy of the SyroMalankara Catholic Church, the Commission helps fulfill the Church’s pastoral responsibility toward all her faithful — children, youth, and elders — living outside the canonical territory of the SMCC.
Through conventions, international gatherings, and pastoral initiatives, the Commission strengthens the bonds of faith and identity among Malankara Catholics worldwide.
Faithful to the Synodal spirit of communion, participation, and mission, the Commission works to ensure that every Malankara Catholic living abroad experiences the care, belonging, and vitality of the Church — one family in Christ, wherever they dwell.
